Currently On call 24 hours a day reporting to the Director of Maintenance and acting as Director of Maintenance in their absence responsible for all maintenance activities in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station (BHKR451C) and all maintenance performed on eleven 35/36 Lear jets five operated under FAR Part 135 (BHKA451C) and seven operated under FAR Part 91.Daily go over all maintenance.Supply the Director of Maintenance with total labor hours for all Maintenance Department personnel and parts costs reports for open or closed work orders when requested.Responsible for planning upcoming maintenance events and preordering required parts.Using SAP create repair station or non–repair station work orders as needed for the Repair Station, accessories, structures, or avionics departments and special missions’ projects as needed.Travel in support of company owned STC’s to answer any questions or provide extra support as needed to the end user.Responsible for calibrated tools used for aircraft servicing both company owned and employee owned.Responsible for FOD control programs including daily ramp/apron walks and employee tool inventory audits twice yearly for tool control purposes.Oversee the completion of Ground Service Equipment servicing per manufactures recommendations.Track and approve or deny employee time off requests based on work requirements and employee benefit allowances.When needed administer corrective actions to maintenance personnel in the form of a verbal warning or written corrective action.(Currently 15 direct report employees)Perform out processing for employees either resigning or being terminated.Qualified as an aerial target reel operator using the Marquardt MTR101 system.Currently a “Responsible Person” for explosive materials as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives responsible for tracking inventory and usage of squibs expended during military training or research and development operations.
