I work within the Rural team in the Lincoln Office of Savills. This means that the majority of my work involves working on historic buildings on estates managed by Savills. I have worked on converting listed barns into residential dwellings. This requires a sensitive approach in order to preserve the historic fabric of the building, whilst meeting the needs of a modern dwelling. I have also worked on the construction drawings for a new agricultural building, which included Offices, bulk storage and a Grain Store. Show less

A large part of the work at NKDC involved planned maintenance projects, such as car parking and external landscaping. I produced Planning and Building Regulations drawings for extensions to suit counsil tenants disabled requirements. This involved liasing with the occupational therapist to assess the tenants requirements, whilst keeping the tenants updated throughout the process. I undertook site inspections for new build timber frame Council Houses, with the aim of ensuring the Council recieved value for money. I have completed a listed building application for proposed solar panels to the NKDC offices. We completed a number of boundary surveys for right to buy applications. I have been involved with on site works to resolve a boundary dispute between a council and private property. Show less
