Michael Garner, GPPA has been an auctioneer since graduating from Missouri Auction School in 1978 at the age of 15. In 1986 he joined with his father Tom Garner in the family business full time specializing in government surplus and consignment vehicle and equipment auctions.In 1989 Mike opened his own office in Bartow and for the next 30 plus years developed the family business to be one of the most well-known and respected vehicle and equipment auction companies in Florida. In that time he has conducted auctions for dozens of state and local government agencies as well as business liquidations, estates, and appraisals.With Mike’s vast auction and marketing experience, he has developed a knowledge of values of a variety of types of assets. This knowledge along with continually following trends in the market have made him very valuable to his clients for conducting appraisals. Over the years he has prepared dozens of appraisals for private individuals, businesses, attorneys, and banks.Tom Garner always stressed to his sons that hard work, integrity, and professionalism were the most important characteristics that a person in business should have.
