      My background includes design/implementation of next generation telephony features. This includes everything from requirement gathering through the life cycle to testing. I've worked on automating sanity tests (including creation of the framework) as well as doing significant amounts of prototype work on a prototype server (details withheld for obvious reasons). I have worked on the AS5300 product which is a high availability server geared primarily towards government and other highly security conscious customers. Finally I was part of the Avaya Presence Services team which includes presence and IM. The feature set is enabled through either SIP or XMPP users. I was involved in improving the machine's behaviour during failure situations, general bug fixing as well as several other features. My experience has been primarily Java, but also some C/C++. I have done extensive work with SIP managing telephony features. My work has also familiarized me with REST, XML, SQL and Cassandra databases. Show less
