Cooling System Design Engineer
-
Oct 2015 - Nov 2016
The lead cooling system designer in an equivalent to a small size company sponsored by the university to design, manufacture and operate an open wheel race car for annual competition. The primary responsibility of a cooling system engineer is to design and integrate the vehicle's radiator and ducting system, with the aim for optimal performance and improvement over previous designs. During the design process, the cooling system engineer is also responsible for the time management and overall cost of the cooling system components, making sure that it is within the available budget and on schedule. During the design period, I have been able to design the team's radiator within the assigned objectives. The success was highlighted by our team being able to obtained significant sponsorship from a world leading cooling system company PWR that has been known for its affiliation with Porsche and McLaren.
