Aug 2021 - Present
I Operate the Day-to-Day Operations at The Row Business Center for Silver Legacy, Eldorado and Circus Circus in Downtown Reno, Nevada. I love that I have a wonderful customer-facing position and I help all walks of life with their hotel business needs...From making copies for guests for their presentations, boarding passes for travel, copies for flyers at conventions, internal print jobs for The Row staff/Departments, shipping UPS Packages for guests; to renting out our computers for periods of time (similar to an internet cafe) and also renting out printers for periodic conventions and coordinating with various personnel in IT for setup of rented print devices. I work closely to help manage the printer fleet here as well similar to my experience I had as an MPS coordinator and I also manage toner supplies for The Row as well and I ensure that all end users are able to print. My motto is No Downed Machines! I place service and toner orders to ensure that all users are helped by our professional and wonderful team of individual experts at Lockwood Moore Inc.,; where we strive for top of the line customer service. I am also very involved in ensuring the maintenance of devices on property and ensuring the fleet is always operable by making regular toner deliveries that are triggered by the use of our automatic toner fulfillment and I ensure that our customers receive the automatically triggered toner orders that are placed on their behalf by an automated software that lets us know when toners get to a certain benchmark. Working at the hotels at The Row, I work closely with all departments of local Caesars Entertainment/Eldorado Resorts staff to handle various guest freight up to 50 lbs. that comes in and we also ship outgoing freight as well via UPS. I work with the front desk staff to ensure guests get their packages when they arrive from various carriers (UPS, Fedex, occasionally Amazon or OnTrac, etc.). My job has many hats and it continues to evolve!

Front End Supervisor
-
Jun 2009 - Mar 2012
I was in charge of managing the front end of the store: I was in charge of calling cashiers to their registers as well as processing returns, I was the front end supervisor that handled the customer service booth at the front of the store, I managed the other registers at the store other than the customer service booth (giving change, also authorizing complicated/authorization required returns) in addition to store organization and display facing, cash counting, sizing, building and staging of clothing displays, etc...Before promotion to front end supervisor, I worked on the Stock Team for 2 years to work my way up to cashier and finally Front End Supervisor. I also worked in the Fitting room as an attendant as well as on the sales floor as a sales associate, I was basically a jack of all trades in this retail environment. Anything they threw at me I was able to handle and excel at.

Party Attendant, then promoted to Party Coordinator
-
Jan 2009 - Sep 2010
I was a Party Attendant responsible for watching large groups of children in a large warehouse-sized bounce house "arena" that required constant supervision of kids to ensure they are following the set rules. I did mostly Children's Birthday Parties. During those Parties, I would engage with the guests and play games with their party guests and their parents too. I also supervised group field trips from area youth groups and kept track of 60-80+ kids in the arenas at one time with another party attendant. Once promoted to Party Coordinator, I was in charge of party planning for paying Party Hosts; to the extent that I would prepare & clean the party rooms, filling balloons and preparing goodie bags, cutting the cake for the guests, serving pizza and drinks, opening presents with the Birthday Child (and cleaning up the mess) and doing pretty much everything a party host would normally do for a Birthday party. I also helped with invoicing for the parties and presented the customer with their bill at the end of the party once guests had left. I cleaned all of the facilities as well, from the arenas with bounce houses to the party rooms, even the bathrooms and other facilities as requested.

I watched Elementary school kids aged K-6 in a before and after school program called Sierra Kids and a program for kids out of school called Vacation Station. This was my experience working in Childcare watching children and I was CPR certified, First aid Certified as well as Epipen trained. I had experience working at almost every elementary school in the City of Reno due to substituting for workers who had called in. This was my first official job and taught me a lot about childcare and children.
