Dr. Doyle was a thoughtful mentor in our work together on the Ethics committee, which reported up through his office. I am grateful he encouraged me to take on the role of Ethics Coordinator and with his support built up the Ethics process at Vassar Brothers. He was also a good teacher to our chaplain interns, taking time to meet with them and share his perspective as a psychiatrist on the mental health issues they might encounter in patient visits. As VPMA, he always honored the employees who did the right thing and set the example of leadership as service to others.
