Michael had helped developed our Friction Tester, a project used to determine the parallelism of one of our electro mechanical assembly. With the team's busy schedule and little to zero documentation on the project, Michael had managed to complete the project before his internship has ended. With minimum guidance, he was able to adapt and understand the control system and had modified the programming of the fixture to suit the ever changing needs of the mechanical assembly. Michael also helped in getting our documentations done, and ensure the future upgrades can be done seamlessly. Michael is very independent and has the right mind set in working with a group of engineers more senior to him. He is a fast learner and listens to every advise given to him. I developed a virtual instrument-based test and measurement system implemented using a state machine design pattern. The system is integrated with a Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation system for testing and characterizing Satellite Electrical Power System (EPS). The automated test system's main hardware components include test instruments: solar array simulators, electronic loads, and data acquisition device, controlled by a PC-based LabVIEW program.
