    • Managing Director
      • Nov 1998 - Jun 2014

De Jays Enterprises was founded in 1998 and previously traded under the names of High-Performance Window Films and Solarmaster. I owned and managed both businesses that were built from scratch and successfully sold after 10 years of trade in 2008. These businesses specialised in commercial window films for corporate, government, and residential customers and supplied a range of premium quality window films for energy management, safety, security and anti-graffiti films, and also supplied renewable energy resources into domestic and commercial applications. At the height of the business, we employed up to 20 people and covered all of Queensland and Northern New South Wales. Through my tenure, I developed a Business Development Consultancy, Management Consultancy, and Business Broking Service. I was also involved in the development and preparation of business proposals for various clients and contract work throughout Queensland, with one of the major consultancy projects completed for Terry White Chemists. Notable Achievements • High-Performance Window Films was named Franchisee of the Year for Australia and New Zealand. • Introduced two new brands to the Queensland market and achieved a 25 per cent market share growth within three years. • Project managed the largest individual project (Boeing) within the window film industry from inception to completion within timeframe and on budget. • Implemented a Terry White Chemists’ marketing strategy to sell a licence concept into existing pharmacies, which involved building rapport and developing a professional relationship with all prospective licensees to achieve agreed goals and sign-off on the completed agreements. • Restructured and converted 10 existing independent Pharmacies over to full retail licences for Terry White Chemists. • Successfully built and ran a retail outlet called The Terra Cottage from 2010 to 2014 that had one of the largest and most diverse range of products for outdoor and indoor areas.
