Collected specimen from client. Then using pipettes, I would pipe the specimen into test tubes ensuring the chain of custody would not be broken. Once analyzed by liquid chromatography, I would then look at the results and approve them. If the specimen came back positive for drugs of abuse, I would re-run certain ones to determine what drug was used and freeze a sample of the specimen for further testing or if the client wanted to send it out to another reference lab for confirmation. I would also maintain the calibration of the analyzer by using specific calibrators for the various immunoassays. Show less
