London, United Kingdom Unfortunately, Cavendish closed down in December 2011. I switched to St Patrick's College, along with many of the ex-Cavendish students and was programme leader in the teach out of the Wales MBA and BSc programmes. Among other projects, I played a key role on the legislation to privatise British Rail, led the development of the performance regime for the London Underground Public-Private Partnership and played the lead role in developing the legislation for the referendum on an elected regional assembly for North-East England. For my last three years in the civil service I was a member of the Senior Civil Service. In that time I led the team that won a rail industry award for the development of a model contract for use by rail freight companies and was later the project manager in the early stages of the Department for Transport's shared services project.
