Michael’s introduction to SunSystems in 1986 as a user led to him returning to Australia in 1988 to establish Sonic Computing (Australia) Pty Ltd which pioneered the introduction of SunSystems into Australia (now owned by http://www.infor.com). As founder and Managing Director of Sonic Computing the company also pioneered the Platinum Financial Accounting Software (now known as Epicor www.epicor.com) into Australia in late 1992. Sonic was successful in establishing both the SunSystems and Platinum Financial Accounting products in Australia and today they are among the leading Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS) systems on the market installed throughout hundreds of major corporations, local, state and federal government bodies.
