High Level Technician
-
Jan 2017 - Jun 2019
Working on Class 387 Electrostar trains and previously been on MOVIA Sub Surface trains in London carrying out, but not restricting to the following tasks: -Extensive testing on train systems post component replacement on systems such as doors, CCTV, traction and brakes. -Use on laptops to monitor system performance and perimeters. -Co-ordinate with the depot hosts to prioritize and allocate maintenance in the most pragmatic way. -Conducting monthly health and safety tours assessing the Depot, Offices and Near Misses, using the results to improve working conditions and safety to reduce chances or accidents. As well as the duties listed above, I would also closely work with the customer, ensuring that their technicians are familiar with Bombardier systems and how they operate. Providing on call technical assistance when required, I also develop scopes of work to allow production managers and team leaders on depot and sidings to carry out initial first level fault finding. Whilst maintaining a close relationship with the customer, I would lease with mangers and controllers to acquire access to trains for fault reviews and preventative checks. Show less
