Michael and I have been working together for the past three years building the foundation for Newark Happening. Under Michael's leadership we've been able to accomplish what no other CVB in the state of New Jersey has done, becoming a Tourism Improvement District. This designation provides the CVB with a sustainable funding source with which to promote the destination for travel and tourism. Michael is a coalition builder, dedicated to hearing from all parties and finding a common thread among them to unite them for a common cause. It has been a privilege working with Michael who has allowed me the freedom to explore out of the box marketing solutions and who continually reminds me to have fun with the work that I produce.

Michael is a great leader. He know how to manage the quantitative portion of business a well as the people. He is a skilled speaker and communicator and had a knack for creating and nurturing strong business relationships. Michael is also an incredible teacher. He not only motivates those he manages but gives them enhanced responsibilities and the chance to be successful.
