Responsible for facilitating new product introduction of ENVG-B, an advanced electro-optical night vision/thermal imager. Activities included preparing and obtaining approval for capital expenditures, hiring and training manufacturing staff, overseeing completion of manufacturing process development, procurement and fabrication of special tooling and test equipment and planning upcoming production schedule in MRP system. Following completion of this transition to production (June 2020) I managed a supply chain risk reduction project, diversifying procurement of injection-molded plastic parts from one supplier to four suppliers.
