  Participated voluntarily in the Royal Ranger Program for over 13 years. Was nominated as a commander in 2008 after completing leadership training and received certification from Sectional Overseer. Selected Contributions: Collaborated with other team leaders to coordinate camping trips throughout the Potomac district region. Responsible for knife safety training, leading courses to help students earn additional merits and helping raise funds for trips and student uniforms. Developed innovative crafts from ordinary logs and twine to solve basic camping annoyances, such as providing a workable washing station, outdoors toilet, cooking station, and shaded shelters.   In charge of daily operations of feeding over 200+ head of cattle, scheduling trucks to fill silos, weekly checkups of heavy equipment and inventorying equipment parts. Additional responsibilities included administering vaccinations, conducting building projects, and fixing electrical fences. Reviewed, evaluated, and developed proposals for new processes and rerouting fence lines to accommodate the growing herd. Helped in the process of planning and installing water pipe routes to cover over 700+ acres of land. Responsible for troubleshooting electrical fences, resolving issues during power outages, herding cattle to new fields on a set schedule, maintaining a clean environment to promote cattle health, fertilizing fields as needed, and conducting regular ground maintenance.
