Completed my first co-op job experience with Ballard Power Systems in the Summer & Fall semesters of 2019. I worked inside of the Lab Equipment Design and Support Department (LEDS) alongside a great group of individuals who formed a close knit team. During my time at Ballard I helped with the Software Design and Development of Test Stations that were being developed at the time. As well as updating older Test Stations with new design features and applications. With my software co-op position I worked alongside other electrical and mechanical co-op students on the same project and gained insight into the complete development of a project. In this team environment at Ballard it really reciprocated with me to not just complete my own work, but to ask questions and involve myself with others work around the office. This allowed me to gain insight into my own work and how it played a role in others jobs and duties.
