      With 29 years as a Postal Inspector i was able to conduct the following: • Investigation of Identity Theft, Mail Theft, Credit Card Fraud, Debit Card Fraud, Counterfeit Postal Money Orders, Nigerian Fraud, and Work-At-Home Schemes • Investigated crimes perpetrated against the Post Office; including Post Office Robberies and Burglaries, Postal Vehicle Break-Ins, Assault on Employees, and other Postal Related Crimes • Prepare complex cases for state and federal prosecution and actively participated in all stages of preparation for trials • Aid victims and witnesses, assist in preparing indictments and affidavits for arrests and searches, and lead interviews and interrogations for court testimony • Conducted numerous undercover investigations of stolen check and narcotics • Implemented the use of Electronic Surveillance Equipment, GPS Trackers, and Pole Cameras • Analyzed phone records • Coordinated the utilization and management of Confidential Informants to pursue leads Instructor at the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy at the College of DuPage. Teach continuing education classes on Financial Crimes and Elderly Fraud to new Detectives and Investigators Member of International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators (IAFCI) since 1993. I was the 2004 Conference Chairman of the IAFCI Training Seminar held in Chicago. President of the Illinois Chapter of the IAFCI from 2005-2012 and International Secretary of the IAFCI from 2013 to present. I am the cochair of the IAFCI NRI/Identity Theft/Prepaid Cards/ Retail Fraud Industry Group - The objective of this group is to share information and experience of law enforcement and the financial industry to reduce fraud. I am also the host of the "Don't Fall For It" weekly one hour radio show on consumer education/fraud prevention.
