      I put the raw block of steel into one of the CNCs, indicate it straight, pick up the X and Y coordinates, load program, gather neccessary tooling and touch them off, and run program. I would also setup and run CNCs to make carbon electrodes for their EDM machine while waiting for the other CNCs to finish. Once programs finished I would check dimensions using dial indicators... I was also the 'General Machinist' on all three shifts at one point or another, in which I was responsible for training new hires and helping any other machinists who might need a hand or a question answered.
