Mic always impressed me with his attitude, effectiveness, and work ethic. The most amazing thing is that Mic never overpromised - he just over-delivers. Mic designed RESTful contracts, implemented those contracts on both the client- and server-side, he took everything I could throw at him and just owned it. Contract programming, UI design, and styling, JavaScript, Java, Spring, Docker - you name it, he can do it, and he can do it well. Even if he was unsure of exactly what needed to be done, he didn't shy away from requirements engineering and helping the product owners figure out what they were looking for. He's exceptional. On several occasions Mic took it on himself to tackle one-off issues that arose in software that was mostly unknown and unhandled by the rest of engineering, and using his know-how and talent could own feature development, testing, debugging, and the release of that software. The best part? He would do this without complaint and without issue - he never missed. How often does that happen? I give Mic my highest recommendation. He's exceptional.
