This was accomplished by working directly with internal and external stakeholders gathering requirements and prototyping. - Real-Time Transit AVL System The system was used for tracking transit assets, displaying the information on a map, and calculating arrival times. Integrated with an in vehicle device allowing the drivers to stay on time during the course of their route. - Real-Time Dispatch AVL System Integrated with the ANI / ALI system to allow dispatchers to handle emergencies and dispatch emergency vehicles more efficiently. Communicated with in vehicle devices allowing the dispatcher to send routing information directly to the vehicle resulting in reduced response times. - Safety Monitoring System The system is used for monitoring users in the field during work alone or hazardous situations. This two way system has proven to reduce response times and increase safety.
