Contracted by Experis into a leading Telco to manage network projects for a major aviation client. Scope of projects Managing pre-sales proposals through to client review, sign off and project delivery. Order value of solutions range from 60k to 2M. Delivering a diverse set of network related solutions for example LAN and IPT refreshes, Wi-Fi upgrades and roll outs, Windows authentication and Data Centre projects. Key skillsets for this role: project governance - Comms plans, project team, roles and responsibilities. Financial management - obtaining quotes from suppliers including suppliers managed by the end client, obtaining commercial sign off internally and from clients. Milestone tracking, specifically tracking payment milestones are delivered on time with evidence and client sign off. Resource tracking - Tracking actuals v forecast. Stakeholder matrix management of diverse virtual team including clients, technical design, suppliers, off shore support desks, service management and commercial teams. Project methodology is based on PRINCE2 and each stage is based on Quality Gate milestones. Change Control management RAID management Achievements to date 4 key pre-sales proposals i managed have resulted in client sign off and purchase orders circa 3M in order value. i am now delivering all 4 projects. I have built a strong client relationship with the end client which has gained a high degree of trust and confidence that i will deliver on time.
