  After joining the Evening Press as a slot editor, I quickly stepped into a position I created by utilizing my QuarkXpress experience and my page and graphic design skills.   The magazine’s Mission Statement was to cover every phase of athletics the happened in the state of Indiana. From high school to college to professional Sports Fan covered it. Sports Fan was my concept and proved a very educational endeavor. Sports Fan was written and designed on a Macintosh using PageMaker. I developed marketing strategies for promotions, advertising and circulation and was in control of every phase of art and production.
