  Responsible for managing all facets of the supply chain including procurement, graphic reproduction, vendor management and service level agreements, tendering and price negotiations, inbound freight, scheduling, code of conduct and quality assurance. Key Achievements: • Tendered and negotiated price on various greeting products in Asia achieving cost reduction of $1.5 million annually.• Developed and documented Service Level Agreements detailing Hallmark requirements including pricing and scheduling.• Produced Production Calendar detailing batch schedules for all product types within Hallmark and to vendors to assist in inventory management and in-line with sales targets.• Negotiated and gave commitments to raw material inventory held by suppliers taking into consideration minimum order quantities, material lifespan reducing cost exposure to Hallmark and vendor.• By outsourcing the Graphic Reproduction department to Hallmark in the UK I was able to leverage their systems and processes to streamline function and deliver cost savings of $250k annually.• Implemented FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) certified product to the Hallmark range of products.• Qualified all new vendors to ensure they comply to the Hallmark Code of Conduct policy and that of the licensors such as Disney.

  Responsible for managing production planning, graphic reproduction, procurement, worked with Supply Chain director to manage local and overseas suppliers, scheduling, code of conduct and quality assurance. Key Achievements: • Moved the greeting card production from local supplier to a vendor in China generating $2.5 million in savings annually.• Establish a dedicated Procurement Department to streamline the ordering process catering for all finished goods purchasing (annual spend $15m)• Outsourced Production Planning function to local supplier and developed all systems and processes necessary.• Led a team to develop and implement a computer based application in procurement that held specification and pricing enabling COGS to be available instantly.• Through continuous improvement, benchmarking and feedback I was able to eliminate the order selection accuracy inspection process saving $80k in wages annually.
