Key Achievements: • Moved the greeting card production from local supplier to a vendor in China generating $2.5 million in savings annually.• Establish a dedicated Procurement Department to streamline the ordering process catering for all finished goods purchasing (annual spend $15m)• Outsourced Production Planning function to local supplier and developed all systems and processes necessary.• Led a team to develop and implement a computer based application in procurement that held specification and pricing enabling COGS to be available instantly.• Through continuous improvement, benchmarking and feedback I was able to eliminate the order selection accuracy inspection process saving $80k in wages annually.
