All Disaster Preparedness response and planning, exercise design and training. Division included a joint communications center for County Law Enforcement, County wide Fire and EMS dispatch, and the primary answering point for the county's 911 system. Maintained three communications towers and programming of all Sheriff's Office radios. Prepared and managed a division budget of over 1.3 million dollars. Also responsible for the County Emergency Operations Center, and supervision and direction of the Sheriff's Office Honor Guard and aviation unit consisting of two OH 58 helicopters. There were 42 employees in my division.
