A company I thought I may have retired from. Wasn't to be unfortunately. I was employed as a lift installer but carried out pretty much everything on this company from all the valuable knowledge I gained from previous experience - and boy did I need it. I installed new traction, hydro lifts, controller changes, modernisations, repairs and servicing was all covered on Tower Elevators(sometimes all at the same time!!!) A had to dig deep but as a result improved me as an overall engineer hugely. Big thanks to Ray Sturdy and Mick Morgan. Show less

I furthered my knowledge in lift installation on this company which set me up for fitting my own lifts. With the knowledge I gained from cutting and carving a lift in from Quintaton I felt very comfortable in fitting package lifts and over coming problems if they occurred. I began as an apprentice / mate subcontracting for Leonard Lifts fitting bespoke lift installations and major modifications working with various types of equipment. Covering panels such TVL Onix, Kone TMS50's and their associated equipment, Lester Controls, Davenport Controls, Otis 321 etc. I learnt a lot from some very experienced sub contracting Senior lift installers who have now unfortunately retired from the industry.
