  As an URA in the Kelly research group, I work on a project sponsored by Teva Pharmaceuticals in anhydrous corrosion. Typical duties involve preparation of samples followed by mass loss tests in various solutions. I then provide an analysis of the reaction mechanism that caused the corrosion.   As the service department manager, I am directly in charge of approximately 30 employees. I work to ensure the crew gives the best customer service and in 2017 the store won an award for its outstanding customer service. My responsibilities include interviewing and hiring new members, launching the new self-ordering kiosk, and providing an analysis of the store’s performance based on quantitative data with ideas on how to improve.
