      My work as software engineer was mostly focused on:- Developing new features in C/C++ for dispatchers in mission critical field.- Fixing legacy defects and writing unit/component tests- Working in client maintenance, which required rework of existing solutions to resolve very specific defects undetected under special conditions. This task usually required daily calls with client representatives and very often the knowledge needed to fix abovementioned problems required not only the Console expertise, but the whole system structure and overview.During this time, along with my colleagues from different teams, we participated in Motorola Solutions internal Hackathon. The theme of these event was centered around helping dispatchers in their daily routine, which will help them stay focused on their actual tasks and allow them to respond much easier during critical moments. We took 2nd place in this event, and later continued and developed our solution even further.To further develop my skills, I begun to write tests and develop the testing environment for system testing. This environment allowed to test almost every part of the Tetra system, and was written in Java.Another thing I started undergoing was leading coding dojos for my colleagues. During these meetings my role was to present good programming practices (TDD, SOLID, clean code), then I presented a task (i.e. number factorization, convay's game of life) which my colleagues were developing using the methods i presented them.Used technologies:C/C++ with C++ 11/14, gtests, C#, Java, Git, Jira, Jenkins, Visual Basic, Oracle's VirtualBox, Windows 7/8/10 Show less

    • C++ Software Developer
      • Mar 2017 - May 2018

      As software developer my duties have grown:- Fixing more complicated defects related to legacy code- Developing new features in C/C++ related to dispatcher's needs in mission critical communication.- I have developed part of our box test environment regarding automatization of old test campaignsDuring this time I was heavily involved in client maintenance. This usually required heavy contact with client representatives, working under pressure and deep knowledge of product.Clients were usually using older releases, which were transitioned to us without proper documentation, so resolving abovemnetioned issues required fighting with legacy code and scarce logs.For short period of time I was working with new product written in javascript, which allowed me to get basic insight of that language.Technologies used during this period of time: C/C++ with gtests, C#, Python, Visual Basic, Javascript, Oracle's VirtualBox, ClearCase, Git, Windows 7/8/10, Jira Show less
