  Energy Efficiency Authority was created to provide support to Croatian Ministry of Economy (now www.mzoip.hr) in all issues related to Energy Efficiency Directive. As part of a small team, we created the third National Energy Efficiency Action Plan, the Energy Efficiency Law from 2014, and all the rulebooks necessary for transposition of EED into national legislation. We also managed the Information System for Measurement and Verification (SMiV), with which we set up a grounds for 17 cities and 20 counties in Croatia to have systematic energy efficiency planning and report all the measure into SMiV.   Removing Barriers to Energy Efficiency in Croatia (EE project) was a UNDP project where teams of engineers inspected public buildings to make preliminary energy audits and an information system for energy management (ISGE) was created in order to track consumption in all public buildings. All ministries, cities and municipalities were encouraged to have energy advisors and to implement EE measures. I was a part of a team in Slavonia, coordinating over 1200 buildings belonging to the Ministries and 27 local authorities. Show less
