Amazing person!

Leslie T.

I worked with Mia on the Women’s March disability caucus. Mia has many incredibly skills that made the caucus so successful. She was able to cultivate a following on our Facebook page in a few months and got us thousands of followers. Mia also was incredibly skilled in understanding policy and philosophy surrounding issues such as disability, adoption, immigration, and much more. One of her responsibilities for the organization was ensuring the march and other events were accessible, and in 2019 Mia was able to create one of the most accessible marches in history. Her biggest strength was in organizing different marginalized communities and making sure they felt welcomed and involved in the disability caucus. Her multi-marginalize focus made the disability caucus inclusive and representative of the entire disability community. She is an incredible leader and able to get the most out of everyone she works with, making her an amazing hire for any team. I have never worked with someone who can motivate a team so well.
