She was able to cultivate a following on our Facebook page in a few months and got us thousands of followers. Mia also was incredibly skilled in understanding policy and philosophy surrounding issues such as disability, adoption, immigration, and much more. One of her responsibilities for the organization was ensuring the march and other events were accessible, and in 2019 Mia was able to create one of the most accessible marches in history.
