  Completed a two week placement at the NHS Christie foundation trust pathology department in joint venture with SYNLAB. I shadowed multiple biomedical scientists from multiple specialisms such as Histology, Stem Cells, Blood Transfusion etc. I benefitted Hugely from this experience, learning the extensive diagnostic services provided to cancer patients to enable specialist treatment to target their specific condition.
