I worked in the Civil and Urban Engineering office named C2SMART, more specifically in the BUILT lab (a transportation data science lab). I worked under a PhD student and presented my research in a poster presentation at the end of my time at the lab. I learned new software that help you manipulate data such as PostgreSQL and ArcGIS. I also learned about how Python could be used to scrape data from websites or format huge amounts of data using modules imported from Anaconda. Overall, I had a great experience and learned a lot over this summer. Show less
