I am responsible for managing and coordinating the Garden's Education Programs including school and general tours, classes, teen programs, and Citizen Science. I lead naturalist activities when needed for school tours and Garden events. I work closely with Education volunteers and serve as their primary contact as well as help develop their training and volunteer procedures, and schedule volunteer meetings and social events. I also serve as the Garden's Administrative Coordinator for our UC California Naturalist Certification Program.

I worked as the naturalist at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History's backyard - an oak woodland play area that encourages hands-on exploration. I managed the backyard's club house, which houses several types of animals including: snakes, pacific tree frogs, salamanders, and various insects, which I used to help educate guests and allow them to interact with. Furthermore, I designed and lead my own outdoor nature exploration programs around the museum, and helped develop curriculum for our school programs. I am also a point of contact for our education volunteers.

I worked as an office assistant for Camp Whittier's Camp Director. My main tasks involved answering questions and providing information to callers and visitors, and managing deposits, invoices, camp information and other paperwork. I also updated our physical and online calendars as well as edited our camp website content to make sure information was up to date. Furthermore, I rewrote camp forms including our camp contract and user agreement form to make them more efficient and user-friendly. When the Camp Director was off of the grounds, I managed the office.Prior to our annual fundraiser, I was in charge of advertising, sending out community letters, and gathering donations from local businesses. Before camps arrived, I helped prepare the site by going over inventory, restocking art and archery sheds and contacting necessary camp staff for our special programs. During United Boys and Girls Club Spring Camp, I worked as the Naturalist and lead campers on nature hikes and educated them on local flora. Furthermore, I assisted the director with their Summer Camp curriculum schedule.
