Michael was a joy to work with and a passionate advocate for education access, social impact and community building. He launched Fort Lewis College's first comprehensive annual giving program, expanding our culture of philanthropy and gaining new donors and trust of campus partners from a wide variety of backgrounds. FLC's Giving Day culture started all because of Michael! He led three record-breaking Giving Tuesdays during his tenure, significantly growing first time donor participation and awareness. He also served in a key leadership role during major team and advancement systems transitions - ensuring the team kept momentum and supporting the FLC Foundation board. He is missed in Durango!

I managed Mike when crowdfunding was at a crossroads at DU. I immediately knew that Mike possessed the passion and skills to take DUGood to the next level. He was eager and accepted the challenge head on, It was a pleasure to work with him and I can't wait to see the positive change that he and this program have at DU.

Mike is a mission-focused passionate doer. He brings the right kind of attitude to all of his projects and is focused on results.
