Mesh is professional and personable. She has a good grasp of the academic executive environment and works effectively in a highly political environment, to deliver results. She is open and honest; considers the variety of perspectives; and has the confidence to present her/alternative view point when needed. We've had some good debates to nut-out the tough issues and at times ended up with answers that surprised us both! I've enjoyed getting to know Mesh and look forward to future opportunities where we might work together.

My first interaction with Meshweyla was in 2009, when I took a master's programme at The Centre for Corporate and Executive Education (ExecEd) at the Waikato Management School (WMS). She was the Director of Operations at the time. Despite not being directly involved with our programme, Meshweyla was always accessible in the event of any of us students requiring any assistance. She was always cheerful, and would often make it a point to interact with us, and gather our feedback and ideas about the School, the programme and our experience there as international students. Meshweyla built lasting relationships with many of the students at ExecEd, and maintains contact even after we graduated. She has been a core reason why many alumni continue to maintain touch with ExecEd. I am currently a teaching fellow at the WMS, and interact closely with the academic staff here. I have heard nothing but praise from them about Meshweyla during her time here as the Executive Director - Executive Education. Also, during my interviews with business owners / managers as part of my doctoral studies, I've found that many of them know Meshweyla, and hold her in high regard. I have also heard very positive things from other staff at ExecEd about her managerial and administrative abilities, her strategic outlook, her innate ability to conjure up the most innovative of ideas to address challenges on hand, and above all, her ability to operationalise those strategic plans and ideas. The ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with students, alumni, staff and the industry is paramount for leaders in higher education. I can confirm without reservation that Meshweyla has developed and perfected that skill. I strongly believe that the Waikato Management School has lost a very capable leader, with Meshweyla's leaving. She will, without doubt, be an exceptional asset to any organisation she chooses to join. I hope you snatch her up at the first opportunity.
