Thames Water Alliance Crossness STW Inlet Pumping Station Upgrade which consisted of the major refurbishment of this strategically important pumping station to increase capacity to 13,685 l/s by replacing 12 drywell shaft driven pumps with 13 drywell submersibles whilst maintaining a minimum flow capability at all times to eliminate overflow in the network. Work involved the management of client expectations as well as managing the supply chain in the face of significant engineering, construction, health, safety and welfare, cost and programme challenges.
