I worked with Mervat in three courses in the Computer Programming & Analysis program at Durham College as she completed the 3-year program in 2.5 years. Mervat is very motivated and hard-working, and she sets a very high standard for herself. Mervat's grades were consistently among the very highest in my courses. Mervat also contributed well in group discussions and projects, where in a "create your dream team" assignment many of our highest-achieving students expressed a desire to work with her. Mervat's capstone project completed with one other student - a web-based software deployment service to simplify installations for students - was incredibly practical, well-designed and well-implemented; only academic bureaucracy prevented it from being deployed with a mere 12-week timeframe for development. I expect that Mervat is going to make some lucky employer very happy very quickly.
