Teeth Records is an independent record label, born in Dalston, that has released video EPs on VHS, assembled cult compilations, produced great t-shirts, thrown riotous parties in squat pubs, and watched bands on its roster be driven off in police vans. The label is currently on ice till it finds the next artist to release. I was solely in charge of marketing, A&R, management and the label's creative direction. tw:in (formerly Happy Spotting) is a 2,600+ network of spotters based in over 90 countries. tw:in's spotters supply TrendWatching with local examples and insights relating to the global and regional trends that they track. While running the network I oversaw a site redesign, grew membership, increased the volume of participants' submissions, wrote the spotter's handbook, developed relationships (via workshops, lectures and internships) with multiple academic institutions, and hosted meetups with spotters in cities such as Paris, Istanbul and Johannesburg.
