Meri is an extremely thoughtful and empathetic team member in a work environment. She is proactive about developing inclusive systems and programs that allow for all members of a team to utilize their strengths while simultaneously having a vital role in helping the broader team to reaching their annual goals.

I had the great pleasure to work with Meri over a number of years on a large and complex project, building a harmonious community from dozens of entrenched local alumnae affinity groups. It sounds easy, but it wasn't. The work was difficult, coaxing long-established and culturally distinct networks out of their silos, to acknowledge their commonalities and to work together for a shared outcome. Meri's unique abilities to seek out, listen to, understand, respect and balance a multitude of competing perspectives were crucial for success in a very politically-charged context. Meri has a naturally positive demeanour, emotional maturity and adept understanding of group structures and dynamics, so she was able to approach the project intuitively and holistically. Several times, she was able to rise above the politics and keep the project moving forward. The innovative community structure (complete with enhanced administrative support) that Meri derived was a welcome departure from tradition. It was very well-received and is still referred to as 'The Meri Model' years later. I would be delighted to work on a team with Meri again.

I was honored to serve as the Interim ED for LGA, allowing the school the time to conduct a full search for a new permanent ED. In the interim, I worked hand-in-hand with the board, Principal and staff to re-open the school for in-person learning, oversaw operations, marketing and fundraising as well as continuing partnerships with local Jewish leaders and organizations.
