Working with her was like a breath of fresh air for an engineer like me. She has a unique project management style and positivity that is infectious to the team. I have never felt stressed or pressured working with a team with Meredith at the helm. At the same time, we completed deliverables efficiently, at a higher speed, and in good quality. She manages all stakeholders well. She works well with engineers, designers, other product people to find the best practical and sustainable solution to any problem. She has a great sense of product ownership. With her critical and analytical thinking, she utilizes data well to set the direction for our product. Meredith is one of the best product people I have ever worked with. I hope our paths will cross again. I would work with her again in a heartbeat.

As the new Product Owner for our squad, Meredith walked into a super challenging role. The team was growing and changing rapidly, many of our new developers had little understanding of typical agile workflows, the product was complex and expectations for coming quarter were extremely high. Under all that pressure, Meredith never seemed worried or stressed. She quickly learned all about our users, product and business. She got to know the team, driving social activities and reaching out to people 1 on 1. She took responsibility for customer problems, managed difficult stakeholders and leveraged her clear thinking to improve our processes and write clear stories. She worked with designers and engineers to ensure that our development process was a two-way street instead of a production line. Meredith is one of the best Product people I have worked with. A clear thinker, service leader and all-around great team member. I hope I get to work with her again in the future.

Humanitree provides a solution for sponsorship organizations and sponsors - and by doing so, helps address children’s education. Humanitree will shift payments from complicated bank transfer to a simpler and more secure method: i.e. recurring credit card payments. Features such as in-app letter-writing and regular in-app updates will amplify human interaction. Finally, users will be able to spread the impact through a multi-tier referral system. We want to change child sponsorship from a mere tax-deductible charity action to a human connection with tangible outcomes - an experience that goes beyond mere sponsorship. As Co-Founder, conducted initial surveys and research to validate markets and assumptions. Tested several prototypes of our user interface to target audience in order to smooth out user experience. Worked closely with graphic designer to craft our latest iteration of the app mockup. Created copy, content, and graphics for marketing and social media. Researched and wrote grants for funding. Humanitree is the winner of the Womanpreneur Digital Acceleration Pitch 2017. Show less
