  • Investigated archival sources in Ireland and the United States for a major international three-part documentary television series about the Easter Rising, coordinating material from multiple institutions and advising on historical issues. • Developed a major publication, Easter 1916: A Research Guide in cooperation with the National Library of Ireland and the National Museum of Ireland, the first comprehensive guide to historical sources pertaining to The Rising.• Catalogued an extensive database of archival material with detailed descriptions of historical details and copyright clearance information from repositories in Ireland, the United States and the United Kingdom.• Coordinated an international and interdisciplinary conference, 1916: What it Means, at the Royal Irish Academy in August 2012 with leading scholars, media figures and museum professionals.• Consulted in preparation of application for a substantial grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
