  My role entailed a wide variety of responsibilities. I was an active member of the Community Engagement team, meaning I set up and attended various events across Davidson County in order to promote voter registration, update voter information and recruit Poll Officials to work on Election Day. These events included political forums, student activity fairs, farmers' markets, voter registration drives, neighborhood association meetings and various other community events. Prior to each election, I monitored numerous training classes to ensure the 1,500+ Poll Officials deployed on Election Day are properly trained. I was also responsible for maintaining the DCEC's social media presence through our Facebook account, and I was responsible for creating, editing and distributing the DCEC's monthly newsletter, "The Commish," which had nearly 4,000 subscribers, including many State and local government officials. Outside of editing the newsletter, I was also responsible for proofreading each advertisement and public notice sent out by the DCEC. I acted as an administrative assistant to the Administrator of Elections, and I was the organizer and manager of the Election Day War Room, which tracks all 160 precincts in Davidson County in real-time.
