      I am tasked with a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to the following:- • Perform site selection (if applicable), initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits in accordance with the contracted scope of work and good clinical practice. • Provide monitoring visits and site management for a variety of protocols, sites, and therapeutic areas • Administer protocol and related study training to assigned sites and establish regular lines of communication with sites to manage ongoing project expectations and issues • Evaluate the quality and integrity of study site practices related to the proper conduct of the protocol and adherence to applicable regulations. Escalate quality issues as appropriate. • Manage the progress of assigned studies by tracking regulatory submissions and approvals, recruitment and enrolment, case report form (CRF) completion and submission, and data query generation and resolution. May support the start-up phase • Create and maintain appropriate documentation regarding site management, monitoring visit findings and action plans by submitting regular visit reports, generating follow-up letters, and other required study documentation • Build awareness of features and opportunities of study to site. • Collaborate and liaise with study team members for project execution support as appropriate (the “Services”) In the same breath as I conduct the above tasks I am in-charge of both internal and external commuinications at A.C.T.S which include; - Strategic and Corporate communication funcstions ; communicating with stakeholders, site personnel and all other relevant persons - Building ( and this is a task I'm thrilled to be having updates on very soon) A.C.T.S digital footprint; creating a website, building our SEO and visibility, creating content for different audiences, and storytelling/ advocating for clinical research in Africa. As the first consultant in the region, I established a base for the organization in East Africa for the first time that have raised the profile and funding to the organization by 10%2. Improved program monitoring by directly reporting on the program's successes, outcomes, and challenges in the region to the Executive Director, a board of ten members, and donors primarily based in the United States.3. Managing the secondary school scholarship program solely, as well as coordinating ten volunteer coordinators in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, as well as two (new) freelance content creators.4. Keeping track of program and school fee budgets allotted to the scholarship program on a yearly basis, and improving efficiency/preventing overspending.5. Virtually built an alumni network of scholarship recipients and created a process document for engagement and networking via the GTL Sisterhood Whatsapp Group, which improved the content in impact reports.6. On the website, we ran a COVID-19 Education Fund Campaign (2020), which raised money to help girls finish secondary school.7. Managed and updated the Word-Press-hosted website/social media content, which receives at least 5,000 hits per month (website), as well as all digital platforms with a total follower base of approximately 4,500.8. From 2017 to 2021, I designed four annual newsletters in Adobe InDesign and compiled stories from interviews and conversations with GTL partners, board members, staff, and alumni, which I distributed via post and email to over 1,000 contacts.
