It's hard to beat Mercedes's dedication and work attitude. Mercedes came on board at Job protocol to manage the talent operations, where I was her direct manager. Job Protocol helped companies connect with freelance recruiters and other talent partners to help find the right candidates for their open roles. Mercedes did an amazing job accurately reviewing the high volumes of resumes coming in, leading client calls to gather hiring requirements, following up with candidates in the hiring funnel and managing relationships with thousands of freelance recruiters through email, community calls and other means. This resulted in some of the best months in terms of hires made, even though we were amidst a big hiring slowdown in the web3 space where we were active. Mercedes contributed her rich expertise in (technical) recruiting, was very open to receiving and giving feedback and went the extra mile on many occasions to get the job done. She evolved smoothy with the position, being very flexible when new tasks were added to her long list of responsibilities. She did a great job managing many competing priorities, being able to get things done efficiently while still maintaining attention to detail wherever it was important. Finally, she always brought a positive attitude to meetings, even when things were tough. It was a true pleasure to work with Mercedes, and given the opportunity, I'd hire her again immediately. For anyone considering Mercedes for a role, I wholeheartedly recommend her and would be more than happy to give more color to the amazing job she did at Job Protocol on a call.
