In my last semester of Seminole State College, i was able to enroll in an Honors Asian Humanities course that gave me the incredible opportunity to attend a short term trip across many cities of Japan. Some of the historical sites we were able to explore were the Hiroshima Memorial Museum, Himeji Castle, Fushimi-Inari Taisha, Mount Fuji, and endless temples! Being able to immerse myself in a culture so different from mine was an unforgettable experience and definitely will not be my last.

During my Fall 2018 semester, I worked on a research project for my Honors physics with Calculus class and submitted my project in the undergraduate research symposium. While gradually learning the different aspects of physics and becoming more familiar with the science, my project partner and i were able to come up with a topic of research and utilize programs such as graphical analysis to figure out how the impulse and angle of a volleyball spike affects the distance traveled.
