Transport for London (TfL) has been awarded the contract to fit out the brand new Waterloo & City line station entrance ‘BOX’ at Bank to construction specialists Hochtief UK Limited. The contract, part of a £57 million major redevelopment at the Bank/Monument interchange, will provide a new step free entrance at the station giving passengers direct access to the Waterloo and City Line from Walbrook Square. Bank station currently serves 98 million passengers per year and is one of London's busiest Tube stations.These works form part of London Underground's station capacity programme to enlarge and make step-free the capital's busiest stations.• Regular meetings with Sub-Contractors in order to collate and chase signed documentation• Co-ordinating with staff and colleagues to meet tight deadlines for submitting NOWRI’s for bringing into use (BIU) – preparing for Inspections for complete sign-off• Ensuring from a Quality perspective that all drawings are legible, and are the latest revision and signed• Bookmarking ITP’s for ease of review for client• Arranging Inspections on site to close out handback• Covering all areas including Premises, Electricals, Fire, Alarms, Lifts, Escalators etc• Preparing the MAID for final close-out

VolkerFitzpatrick started working on site at the £53m Ilford Yard Stabling project in May 2013. The project for client, Crossrail, covers the provision of additional stabling facilities for the new Crossrail trains at Ilford Depot, which is located adjacent to the Great Eastern Main Line between Ilford and Seven Kings. As well as the provision of additional stabling facilities VolkerFitzpatrick is making changes to a number of existing buildings at the Ilford Yard site so that Crossrail can build ten new sidings to house trains overnight and construct a new building for those who will ultimately be employed on site.My role an responsibilities were as follows:• To collate all design information in order to facilitate and drive the submissions of the various design packages to Crossrail in order to meet timescales;• To receive and track CRL’s comments, to monitor the closeout of comments to the satisfaction of key stakeholders such that full approvals being received in time for the scheduled Gate date for each design package; • To create, track and monitor progress of the various design submissions and their associated deliverables, reporting on progress and risks to delivery;• To ensure design submissions have been reviewed and checked for completeness and accuracy before submission. • Liaising with the Lead Designers ensuring all deadlines have been met for IDC’s, Gate Impact reports, Mini Gates and Main Gates; making sure all eB links are current and up to date;• Ensuring all documentation is at Code 1 meeting to programme deadlines in order to raise RIR’s for AFC’s

I am currently working as the Document Control and Handback Manager for Network Rail closing out the station upgrade for the Farringdon Station Thameslink Project. My responsibilities and duties are as follows:• Working closely with London Underground Limited, I produce the MAID (Mandatory Asset Information Deliverables) which involves populating documentation for various disciplines including Civils, Electrical, Mechanical, Fire, Lifts & Escalators, Platforms and Communications.• Issuing and receiving documentation to and from the sub-contractor using the Connect MOSS system.• Collating all the signatories for approval of documents before issuing these to LUL and updating the MAID • Chasing up all outstanding documents such as As-Builts, WPP’s Form E’s, Testing and Commissioning data, Design Calculations• Uploading of Construction drawings onto Projectwise and their conversion to enable them to be viewed online.• Cataloguing, storage and retrieval of drawings, specifications, schedule and reports• Ensuring Sub Contractors documentation is approved. This involves weekly meetings with the sub contractor for regular updates and reporting back for any possible delays or issues that need to be addressed.
