  CSC aims to improve the quality of life for disabled poor people by providing free rehabilitation surgery. Integral to this mission is a program of training local surgeons and health workers, focusing on the development of sustainable surgical services for Cambodians. Key Responsibilities: 1-Assisting doctors and nurses on doing patient’s report in the ENT department, visual acuity tests (eye exams), and eye pressure tests (IOP) patient’s report. 2-Managing patient's medical report and file up the patient documents. 3-Helping doctors and nurses to find different medical types of equipment during surgery and patient check-up. It was a cool and new experience to be able to get this amazing opportunity to intern in this organization that tries to help thousand and thousand of patients and who desperately needs this service. My role through this intern was very flexible, sometimes I worked with patients and help to guide them to the right location and meet the doctor. At another time, I help to organize or write down the patient info while the doctor has a discussion with the patient. So I would help to enter all notes from the patient into the database. My best experience was to able to help in the surgery room and work with the doctor to bring any nessasilry materials before and during the operation. I learn a lot from this experience especially understand the importance of each role and the flow of the whole system in the hospital. Show less

Main Role: 1-Helping with the application and product testing on key important features, and suggesting improvement ideas on the SokhaKrom app. 2-E-Health & M-Health research as supporting information to suggest new app feature, further discover and more research on different wearable watches functions. 3-Competitor research and app functions comparison. I was involved working with the Sokhakrom app where I help to test out the application platform and features that help with the health industry in Cambodia. At the same time, I did research about health information that is essential for a doctor when meeting with patients. Sokhakrom wants to use current exiting technology to track all the information about basic patient health conditions to store in the database the Sokhakrom platform database for a health check-in purpose with the doctor. Lastly, during this internship time, I was able to understand even better about Codingate's mission and how this leading technology company executes to achieve their goal and at the same time, I was able to understand the team management and planning of the company as well.
