• Direct the day-to-day medical/psychiatric operations of a behavioral mental health agency including both staff and program management. • Personnel management including but not limited to approving timesheets and time off, training staff, addressing staff disciplinary matters, and hiring new staff. • Prioritize inclusive and diversity focused treatment of over 300+ Medicaid/Medicare funded clients with a mental health diagnosis through collaboration with other agency teams including housing specialists, case managers, other agency department directors, pharmacies, laboratories, health facilities. • Administered a $150K budget by establishing the agency’s first ever electronic health record database. • Transitioned successfully, an agency of 120 staff from paper records to the agency’s first ever electronic health record database to efficiently serve the unique mental health needs of over 500 Medicaid/Medicare enrolled clients. • Played a pivotal role in partnering with agency affiliated pharmacy in opening a satellite location onsite at the mental health agency. • Expanded the behavioral health medical team from a team of one nurse practitioner 2 nurse practitioners, 3 registered nurses and 1 Licensed Practical Nurse. • Successfully led the initiation and implementation of Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, suboxone prescribing and drug screening.
