Melvyn and I worked together for Universal Studios Singapore. I was the art director for The Egypt Zone and Melvyn provided the lighting. Universal Studios Singapore required a lighting designer who was fast, creative, and who understood what special needs The Egyptian Zone needed. He produced outstanding results to this much discussed zone.
Melvyn was my Lighting Consultant for the area development portion of Resorts World Sentosa's theme park at Universal Studios Singapore, which was challenging in that it was both an extremely fast-paced and highly creative project. We had beautiful results and I am happy to recommend him. He was patient, hard working, and prompt to the near continuous on-site project meetings, yet still managing to perform the design work and make changes on-time. This experience and fortitude is invaluable and hard to find in a consultant and I recommend him to any client looking for an extra edge in their project.
