Specialize in design and development of door systems for new models. CAD Software used is Catia V5 1) Design & develop door related components for new & current models whereby I produce design concepts for the related parts for a new model. 2) Once the design concept is approved, a packaging study is done to ensure the part can be designed with the allowed dimensional constraints. Once that is done, I produce the 2D & 3D data for the part and aid in the prototype development of the part. 3) Testing is done to ensure part quality and to verify the design. At this stage, I manage and ensure the part suppliers adhere to out requirements. 4) I closely monitor all tests and vendor development status to ensure that there won't be any problems during mass production. 5) CAD software that we use is CATIA, however I have knowledge in using ProE as well since we used that software for our undergraduate studies.
